I am a Product Design Lead, and I have worked at multiple fortune 500 companies. My focus has spanned net new product ideation, design system construction, and high fidelity delivery. I improve design ops efficiency, modernize design styles, and make digital experiences easier to navigate.

I have worked both client-side and in consulting, designed B2B and B2C products, and explored a range of industries. The common thread in my experience is my love of learning, growing, and innovating.

Principal Product Design Lead

Design Systems for Pearson+

  • Built out an atomic grayscale wireframe component library in Figma, to help improve efficiency and expedite iteration prior to high fidelity.

  • Established a framework in Airtable to conduct an exhaustive audit of current components and styles on the live Pearson+ site, to find opportunities for convergence and influence future design system choices.

  • Audited the existing live site using a custom Airtable template, employing four linked data sets to document all 150+ URLs, capture page linking data, and list components present within pages. Built a custom interface connected to the data set, leveraging data visualization to show current page structure patterns and outliers, as well as visuals of the components themselves. Presented findings and recommendations.

  • Documented atomic design system components and usage guidelines in Zeroheight, and linked to Storybook for front end visibility.

Product Design & Strategy for Pearson+

  • Led a team to design net new wireframes for a hiring platform, considering competitive research, user needs, and market gaps.

  • Collaborated with product managers and developers in a cross-functional team, to design and launch a customizable tile system for brand partnerships, enabling tiles to fit into various parts of the P+ experience in unique and thoughtful ways.

Workshop Design for Pearson+

  • Designed a 2-day virtual workshop for ~30 attendees to collaborate in small cross-functional teams and rapidly iterate, leading to an output repository of wire-framed ideas.

Project Management for Pearson+

  • Crafted custom Airtable spreadsheets to track meeting notes, assign tasks, log design critique outcomes, plan team gifts, and more. ​

Digital Product Design Consultant

Project & Product Management for Telecommunications Client

  • Constructed user-friendly custom Airtable intake process for the design team to log work outputs, track software use, deliverable types, status, collaborators, and key dates. Connected the Airtable intake form to an Excel backend, leveraging formulas to process data and produce visuals, which were then used in monthly PowerPoint reports for client consumption.

  • Mapped user data to requirements, to inform optimal experience.

Design Systems for Telecommunications Client

  • Built out an atomic iOS style guide library in Adobe XD, building in nesting and automation functionality for ease of use in the future.

  • Refined and stylized existing inconsistent components found in Sketch, to make the parts feel unified, modern, and cohesive.

UI / UX Design for Telecommunications Client

  • Designed high-fidelity customer-facing responsive web and app experiences for retail and care based on research and ideation.

Product Design & Strategy for Resources Client

  • Served as the UX Lead in the design of an end-to-end CSR-targeted experience. Followed an Agile workflow to translate SME insights into an intuitive CSR experience that reduced AHT, enhanced usability, upheld modern design standards, and incorporated accessibility targets.

  • Advocated for usability testing and built out materials for tests.

  • Facilitated design-thinking sessions to gather requirements and enable rapid design iterations.

Product Research for Financial Services Client

  • Interviewed employees in both group and individual settings, observed employees at work, analyzed findings, and constructed a synthesized Intranet modernization plan.

  • Strategized to shape the future of the client’s KM efforts, prioritizing key objectives to identify long and short-term goals, combat pain points, and incorporate blue sky ideation.

PSIA (Public Safety & Institutional Assurance)

Design Intern

Design for Public Safety & Institutional Assurance (PSIA)

  • Created posters with Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop to communicate ways to stay safe, to reach various demographics.

  • Built animated content with AfterEffects to serve as promotions for new accounts and features.

  • Worked with video in Premier, filming content for branding, as well as internal self-defense videos.

  • Captured photography of people and edited photography in Lightroom to correct lighting and sharpen details.

  • Made a set of themed icons for internal needs in Illustrator, observing branding guidelines and applying modern design treatments.

Template Design for Public Safety & Institutional Assurance (PSIA)

  • Compiled and designed guides for design processes using InDesign, to save time for future interns.

  • ​Made PowerPoint templates for internal use, offering a varied assortment of ways to observe brand guidelines.

Content Strategy for Public Safety & Institutional Assurance (PSIA)

  • Developed messaging strategies for weather alerts by considering both the nature of content and how to effectively get students engaged.

  • Designed reports on social media strategy, based on observation of current accounts in conjunction with research into effective strategy.

Product Marketing Management Intern

Retention & Nurture for Xbox Store

  • Crafted a retention and nurture campaign to convert one-time customers at the Xbox Store into repeat purchasers.

  • Automated the Xbox Store Twitter account posts, designing an Excel spreadsheet to generate formulaic tweets through creative use of nested IF, AND, OR functions and concatenation.
